2023/03/17 Try a Bike Days (Low Support Bikes) - Day 1

You Can Ride 2 (YCR2) is hosting a Try a Bike Day event on Friday, March 17, 2023, and we would really appreciate your help with volunteering to make the event run smoothly! Early shifts will run from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Late shifts will run from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM. There is a lunch break in between shifts, and orientation for all positions will be provided (Setup shifts are different; please see below). Note: Families who volunteer for this event will have their $75 Rental Fee refunded after completing of a 4-hour shift. You can have someone volunteer on your behalf! When you sign in, indicate which child you are volunteering on behalf of. Location: The Goodwill Impact Center, 11415-168 St NW Edmonton. Masks are required for all adults during the early shift. Masking is optional in the late shift. We will supply hand sanitizer. Please contact info@youcanride2.ca if you have any symptoms. There are additional shifts available on Saturday March 18, and Sunday March 19, if you are available. Mar 17 - Mechanic (Late Shift)

Mechanics work with therapists to help fit bikes to kids (e.g., adjusting seats and handlebars, changing pedals). Experience working on bikes is required for this role.
