2023/10/21 Bike return day 2 (Annual Drop offs bikes)

October 21, 2023 is a Fall Bike Return day! We need your help to make it happen. Morning shifts will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Afternoon shifts will run from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM. There is a break in between shifts, and orientation for all positions will be provided. Location of event: The Goodwill Impact Center, 11415-168 St NW Edmonton. If you are an able-bodied volunteer, please park along 114 Avenue so that the families can park closer to the event space for drop off. As always, we at You Can Ride 2 (and the families) really appreciate your help and we look forward to seeing you on one of the volunteer days!

Greeters help welcome families and explain the return process. Orientation will be provided.

Assist families with unloading bikes. Must be able to lift heavy bikes and must be dressed for the weather - you'll be outside most of the time.

Verify that all parts the client borrowed have been returned and updating our records. Being comfortable with computers and technology is an asset.

Mechanics need to perform quick assessments on each bike as it's returned, and sort them into various categories based on the amount of repairs and maintenance they'll need. Experience working with bicycle repair is required for this role.
