You Can Ride 2 Volunteer Signup

2022/02/24 - Bike Fitting Day 3 (March 13)

You Can Ride 2 Bike Fitting Days are our most important events as it is here that children get fit with bikes and take them home for the season! Children with mobility challenges and more complex seating needs are invited to attend these fitting events (March). Location: The Goodwill Impact Center, 11415-168 St NW Edmonton. Morning shifts will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Afternoon shifts will run from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM (Setup and Cleanup shifts are different; please see below). Please note: Sunday, Mar 13 is Daylight Savings Time and clocks will move 1 hour forward! Please make sure to set your clocks so you arrive on time! Orientation for all positions will be provided. Volunteers who sign up for both AM+PM shifts will be provided with a free lunch (a $10 gift card to a restaurant of choice - there is a 30 min lunch break in between shifts). Note: Families who volunteer will have their $75 Rental Fee refunded after completing of a 4-hour shift. You can have someone volunteer on your behalf! Please contact josh@youcanride2.ca ahead of time to let us know if you would like to choose this option. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we will not be able to offer food or snacks. Please bring your own bottle for water. Additionally, masks are required for all adults within the Impact Center and we will supply hand sanitizer. Please complete the Covid-19 Prescreening Questionnaire (link in your volunteer confirmation email) on the same day of your shift to ensure you do not have any symptoms. We really appreciate your help and look forward to seeing you soon! Thanks, The You Can Ride 2 Team
