2023/04/16 Bike Fitting Day (Low Support Bikes) - Day 2

You Can Ride 2 Bike Fitting Days are our most important events as it is here that children get fit with bikes and take them home for the season! Children who do not use mobility aids but need a little more support to ride are invited to this event. Location: The Goodwill Impact Center, 11415-168 St NW Edmonton. Morning shifts run from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Afternoon shifts will run from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Orientation for all positions will be provided. Note: Families who volunteer will have their $75 Rental Fee refunded after completing of an ~ 4-hour shift. You can have someone volunteer on your behalf! When you sign in, indicate which child you are volunteering on behalf of. Masks are required for all adults during the early shift. Masking is optional in the late shift. Mechanic (PM)

As a mechanic at the Fitting Day, your main role is to work with therapists to help fit bikes to kids (e.g., adjusting seats and handlebars, changing pedals, etc.). Previous experience working on bikes is required for this role.
